Good on you, man! Always cool to see how different folks approach the same subject. How long did this one take you?
Not sure how the bright orange looked, but judging by this, I think your instincts served you well.
it was looking ok but i just couldnt settle on it really. I was trying to get it a nice burnished gold but just couldnt get it right. i may bring it in and whack it in the scraps.
took me couple of hours on a saturday morning i think. cant have been much more than that. and then right at the last second i changed the colour and made it slick and shiny.
